Choose the register document before requesting it

Ukraine’s Unified State Register, or ЄДР, contains information about legal entities, sole proprietors and public formations. Ukrainian law distinguishes a registration-result extract, called a vypyska, from a search-based extract, called a vytiah. Law No.755-IV defines the former by the completed registration action and the latter by the search criteria in a separate request. Ask the recipient which document and information date are required.

EDR or EDRPOU: identify the register

EDR and EDRPOU are separate registers. A request for an “EDRPOU extract” may mean State Statistics Service information. Its official page directs applicants to the territorial statistics office for the subject’s location. Confirm the required register with the recipient: service 00234 concerns EDR and does not automatically cover statistical EDRPOU information.

Finding a registration-result extract

For a registration action submitted through Diia, wait until the application has been processed successfully. Check its notification and the received-documents section of your own account. Submitting an application does not establish that registration is complete or a document has already been produced.

Where a registrar handled the action, use the official Ministry of Justice service and the document-access code provided for the relevant result. The official Diia service card00234 identifies the registration-result download route. A company’s ЄДРПОУ code, an individual’s RNOKPP number and a document-access code have different purposes. Do not substitute the registration identifier for the code associated with a particular action.

Ordering a search-based extract

A vytiah is requested against selected search criteria. Check its information date, scope and delivery channel before paying. The separate Diia extract service has a sole-proprietor scope. Its workflow should not be presented as the way to obtain information about every legal entity. For a company, choose the appropriate authorised electronic service or provider of register information.

A free information lookup, the result of a registration action and a paid search-based extract are distinct outputs. Check the current charge and payment method when ordering. Documents intended for use abroad may require the special registration-extract procedure for an apostille; downloading an ordinary file is not a substitute.

Before contacting an office

  • Identify the document, entity and information date required.
  • Confirm that any associated registration action is complete.
  • Check whether the online service covers the relevant type of applicant.
  • Verify that the chosen CNAP accepts this exact request.
