EDR, EDRPOU and tax information are different
Ukraine’s EDR holds registration information about legal entities, sole traders and civic formations. An EDR extract differs from State Statistics EDRPOU information and proof of VAT registration. Identify whether a FOP needs a requested extract, a statement produced after registration, or a current-status check.
Requesting the official extract
Official service card 00234 describes an electronic state-service request or an appropriate application to an authorised registrar, notary or CNAP accepting the action. Open the Diia EDR-extract service, sign in and check the subject, available request process, information and payment. Save the result in the form supplied by the service.
An in-person request involves identification, the request and payment evidence. A representative must establish authority where the relevant representation details are not in EDR or the procedure requires a separate document. Being someone’s accountant does not automatically confer authority.
The national electronic channel does not produce different “Kropyvnytskyi, Lutsk or Rivne versions”: it concerns the identified subject in Ukraine’s EDR. For an in-person visit, separately check the office’s authority, service and address in the chosen city.
Access codes, registration statements and free search
A code supplied after a registration action gives access to its corresponding results under the service rules. It is not a password for all private register data or a universal substitute for a new paid request. For a statement following FOP registration or a change, first check the completed action in your account.
Free search helps check open information. A paid extract has its own generation procedure, scope and charge. A screenshot from a search does not replace the requested document. Check the current fee before confirming the request.
The 2021 and 2022 instructions
A year in a query may concern an old instruction, a fee or records as of a particular date. Specify the period and information: a new document does not automatically certify the register’s state on any past day.
On 12 December 2022 the Digital Transformation Ministry announced a beta test for FOP EDR extracts in Diia, quoting the then charges of UAH 120 offline and UAH 90 through the portal. This is a dated launch announcement, not proof that the same Diia service operated throughout 2022 or a current 2026 tariff. Use the current service card for a new request and the relevant period requirements for historical information.
Article 11 of Law No.755-IV and the current EDR-information procedure provide the legal route. If the electronic channel is technically unavailable, check official notices and an authorised alternative. A loading error does not change the business’s register entry.
Requesting an EDR extract in 2021
A paper extract in 2021 followed Justice Ministry Procedure 1657/5 of 10 June 2016. The historical version applicable on 31 December 2021 includes the extract request, “витяг”, in Annex 2; Annex 1 concerns the different “виписка”. The official extract-request file is linked from that version.
Under Section II, applicants approached an authorised registration provider, CNAP or notary. The registrar or authorised officer generated and printed the request through EDR; the applicant checked and signed it. Identity evidence was required, representatives had to establish their authority, and payment evidence accompanied the request. Search criteria depended on the subject: for an individual entrepreneur, their name and/or tax number, subject to the statutory passport exception; for a company, criteria included its name or code. The 2021 form should not be presented as guaranteed current for a new application in 2026.
