Identify the register before ordering
An informal request for an “EDRPOU extract” can mean different documents. EDRPOU is the statistical register of enterprises and organisations. The Ministry of Justice EDR concerns legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and civic formations; an EDR search extract and a statement produced after a registration action follow a different route. Ask the document’s recipient for the full register name and the information required before paying.
Choose the information you need
Order No.386 provides for information about one subject, a list of subjects or a count based on specified criteria. For an individual subject, it distinguishes identification, classification, reference and registration data. Choose the categories that meet your purpose. This request route does not supply the register’s entire information database.
Find the statistics office and request form
The State Statistics Service’s official page directs applicants to the territorial statistics office for the subject’s location. Use that office’s website to check contacts and current payment details. Follow the current request form in Annex 1 to Order No.386, identifying the subject, data categories and preferred delivery method. A legal entity’s representative should have properly documented authority.
The request may be submitted in person, by post, by email or through another means of electronic messaging. Specify whether you want paper or electronic information. The word “register” alone does not identify an appropriate CNAP: establish the document and competent body first.
Payment and the stated time limit
Information is generally chargeable. The office needs the request and a payment document or verifiable payment details. Order No.209 separately sets the charge for data about one subject and the cost of other work. Confirm the amount applicable to your request and the recipient details before paying. Paragraph 16 of Regulation No.118 provides a five-day time limit for information requested by a subject.
If you need a different business document
For Ministry of Justice information, read about the EDR extract and registration statement. If a form asks for a company code or VAT identifier, distinguish the identifiers first. An EDRPOU code, the register’s name and the requested document are related concepts, rather than interchangeable labels.
