Locate the previous case
After further damage, retain the earlier application reference, decision, report and special-account details. Separately record the new incident and how it differs from the previous damage, using safe means. Do not describe already funded work as new without explaining its condition.
Check whether verification is complete
Procedure 381 provides a specific sequence when the earlier compensation has not yet been verified at the time of further damage. This can require closing the special account, the bank returning unused funds, and asking the commission to verify spending and close the earlier case. Agree these steps with the bank and commission before making the next application.
Record the new incident
In Diia, open the repair report for the previous application and select the repeated-damage option if it is available for your case. A new damage notification and compensation application then follow under the current procedure. If an active account or unfinished case blocks submission, resolve the reason rather than creating arbitrary duplicates.
Prepare for a further inspection
Show the commission the repair condition before the new incident, purchased materials and new damage. Keep existing receipts and photographs. A new award depends on the assessment and checks; the previous amount is not automatically repeated.
A new special account may be required for the next payment after the previous one is settled. Do not transfer remaining funds using details from unsolicited messages; arrange account actions directly with the bank. The general eRecovery situation covers the other preparation steps.
