Identify what must be proved
“An extract from Diia”, “registration certificate” and “an MVS certificate” do not identify one document. Ask the receiving institution for the full result name, information and purpose. Registration may concern an address, sole trader, company, property or vehicle. Diia provides separate services rather than one universal register.
A registered address
Choose the territorial community register extract for declared or registered residence. The official Diia service or the relevant registration authority can provide it for yourself or a child under the applicable conditions. It confirms a record; it does not register a move.
A sole trader or legal entity
Business-register information concerns a FOP or company. An EDR extract, a registration-action statement and State Statistics EDRPOU information are different results. Check which one a bank or counterparty requires. VAT registration information is another distinct record.
Property rights
For registered rights to an apartment, house or another property, request information from the State Register of Property Rights. This differs from a resident’s address extract and a land-cadastre extract. Use the prescribed person or property search criterion. Receiving information does not register a new ownership right.
The Diia service card explains the electronic request; check current technical availability before applying. For paper information, confirm the procedure with an authorised registrar, notary or CNAP.
MVS information
If criminal-record information is required, use the criminal-record extract or the official MVS electronic service. Diia offers short and full versions with different information. Choose the purpose and type for the matter; see the guide.
A general request for “an MVS certificate” may concern another record. Vehicle registration and driving licences require their own transport services. A criminal-record extract does not replace them.
Before paying or signing
Check the register, person or object, scope, date, representation and delivery method. A free extract does not make all register requests free. Keep the electronic original and use its prescribed verification rather than relying on a screenshot.
